Learn more about the innovative ASTRO ACCEL initiative, a global effort to propel research and research-to-practice in the realms of astronomy education, engagement, culture, and communication. With over 28 networks, including the IPS, and spanning 6 continents, ASTRO ACCEL is set to catalyze collaborative research in these vital fields. By bringing together both researchers and practitioners, ASTRO ACCEL aims to foster a community where ideas are exchanged, priorities are collaboratively set, and meaningful progress is made towards advancing astronomy education and communication. Planetariums have and will continue to play a critical role in shaping the future of astronomy education and outreach worldwide. Join us as we discuss how ASTRO ACCEL can be utilized to inform and advance planetarium efforts globally.
